On Veterans Day, November 11th from 6:30am-9:00am at the Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center in Prosser, PMH Medical Center will be providing free breakfast for veterans, active military, and their families. This event has become an annual tradition for PMH Medical Center, Prosser, and several veterans in the Valley. Last year’s event was well-attended and provided a great opportunity to thank these valued men and women for their service. New for 2017, PMH Medical Center has expanded the menu and extended the breakfast hours with an earlier start time of 6:30am.
The Prosser Veteran’s Day Parade has a new start time this year of 1:00pm. It will run a new route this year, starting at the Prosser High School, circling through the downtown area, and finishing up at City Park where the Benton County Museum and Historical Society will be hosting a ceremony on the lawn and providing coffee and cookies. The ceremony in the grass to the east side of the Museum will include a reading of Prosser men who were killed in the service from World War I through the present, as well as other speakers addressing the significance of service to our country.
The Walter Clore Wine & Culinary Center is located at 2140A Wine Country Rd. in Prosser. To learn more about the Veteran’s Day Breakfast, please contact PMH Medical Center Community Relations at 509-786-5574
