The Board of Commissioners of PMH Medical Center (PMH) has appointed Craig J. Marks the hospital’s new Chief Executive Officer. “Craig Marks brings a wealth of hospital experience to this position, and is committed to making physician, patient and employee satisfaction a high priority” said Board Chair Stephen Kenny. “Quorum Health Resources (“Quorum”) conducted a national search for this position, and worked closely with us to identify the right candidate for our hospital and community.”
Mr. Marks will begin working at PMH on August 29, 2016. With more than 30 years of hospital administration experience in the West and Midwest, Mr. Marks was most recently president and CEO of Mark Twain Medical Center in San Andreas, CA. In his prior position he successfully recruited physicians and developed new service lines for the hospital and community.
A fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Mr. Marks received his undergraduate degree in Hospital/Business Administration from Concordia College in Minnesota, and his master’s degree in Hospital and Healthcare Administration from the University of Minnesota.
“I look forward to getting to know and working with the medical staff, employees and board, and becoming an active member of the community,” commented Mr. Marks. “From what I’ve seen already, this is a wonderful community which obviously cares about its local hospital.” His wife Andrea will be joining him in Prosser.
A community reception is planned to welcome Mr. Marks. The reception will be in the Vineyard Pavilion at the Walter Clore Center from 5:30 - 7 PM on Wednesday, September 7, 2016.
